Membership in Latinx in Biomechanix is open to all who are passionate about increasing Latinx representation in biomechanics.

What if I'm not Latinx?

Non-Latinx allies are essential to our mission of increasing Latinx representation. As a member, you’ll enjoy all the same benefits of being part of our community, while also using your platform to amplify Latinx voices and open doors for others. We know it can feel unfamiliar to step into a space that doesn’t reflect your personal experience, but your presence, support, and advocacy help strengthen our collective impact.

How much does it cost?

Member Expectations

Members of the LiB should be knowledgeable of the organization’s purpose, mission statement, and organizational structure, as well as exhibit a desire to improve the status of LiB through acknowledgment of their responsibilities as an active participating member. 

Members should make a concerted effort to attend functions, meetings, fundraisers, socials, mixers, and events that relate directly to LiB. Members must also demonstrate exemplary ambassador skills when representing the LiB community at large. 

All LiB members should demonstrate respect and kindness towards all other individuals at LiB events and whenever/wherever they may represent the LiB community. LiB officers reserve the right to revoke membership for anyone who consistently demonstrates reckless and disrespectful behavior.
